LOS ANGELES - Tri-Tech Industries and Escom LLC announced Friday an agreement to develop a platform for a webcam channel, set to launch on Sex.com.
Using the technology, the company plans to create a new affiliate program, as well as two new sites, AmateurCams.com and CamsNetwork.com.
The technology will allow for two-way communication and pay-to-view functionality, which will be a driving force behind visual interaction for people.
Tri-Tech, operator of the popular AVS site CyberAge.com, views the partnership with Escom as the first step in obtaining a large slice of the adult webcam market.
"This has been an exciting project and I'm looking forward to seeing the final outcome," Tri-Tech CEO Jack G. said. "Working with Escom CEO Del Anthony and Sex.com is a win-win situation."
Anthony said he is looking forward to working with Jack, Dave and the rest of the team at Tri-Tech on this project.
"This will be a real pleasure," he said. "They have built a hugely successful company and the reasons have become obvious to me. They have met our needs as outlined and in the end their webcam platform will fit perfectly into the long term strategy for our community."
Prior to launching the platform in December, Tri-Tech is offering the first 1,000 webcam models who sign up on Sex.com a free webcam, priority search results, email blasts to millions of CyberAge members and main page search rotation on all 3 websites.
"I like the direction Del is taking Sex.com," Tri-Tech Vice President David D., aka CyberAge Dave, said. "It's not every day you get a phone call asking you to be involved in one of the world's most typed-in domain names."
