SANTA MONICA, Calif. - ExpressPro has named Tela Andrews its vice president and general manager.
Beginning Nov. 1, Andrews will have full responsibility for the operations of ExpressPro, which specializes in driving targeted search-engine traffic to client websites, in addition to the duties of his prior position as director of business development.
"With this new position, I will expand my role with business development to not only recruiting more clients, but different products that we can carry, including different search products, as well as working with different search networks," Andrews told AVN Online. "We will also be partnering with companies to get them distribution deals."
President Gregory Dumas predicted that ExpressPro will gain much from having Andrews at the helm of its operations.
"Tela has really stepped up to the plate since he has joined ExpressPro," he said. "The new programs we are launching are his ideas, and our customers keep telling me about the benefits. Vivid has seen their conversions more than double since we have implemented his ideas. I have full confidence that the company will grow and prosper under his management."
ExpressPro hired Andrews in May; as director of business development, he recruited clients and developed the company's systems and platforms using the knowledge he gained while overseeing the adult category of Yahoo!'s sponsored search group.
"I chose to work with ExpressPro not only because of the people, their integrity and depths of relationships that they have in the market, [but because] they have committed to ... building systems so that we could hit the ground running and come out with the best-in-class product that means more to our clients' bottom line. I wanted to be part of that and to drive that. That's what drew me here."
ExpressPro is owned by GEC Media.
