TLA Kicks Off Holiday Giveaway

PHILADELPHIA – TLA Entertainment Group and its award-winning retail destinations TLAVideo.com, TLAraw.com, and TLAmovies.com will launch a holiday-themed “Nutcracker” Holiday Giveaway on Dec. 1. Running though Dec. 25, the promotion will give visitors to TLA’s retail sites the opportunity to enter to win daily giveaways throughout the holiday season. One winner will be selected daily to win any number of exciting prizes, including Apple iPods, Pioneer home theater systems, TLA gift certificates, portable DVD players, and more.

The giveaway will culminate with one Mega Grand Prize Giveaway consisting of an Xbox 360, a $250 TLA gift certificate, a 30GB Apple iPod, and an Apple iPod Hi-Fi.

“Essentially, what TLA is doing is running 25 daily giveaways this December for both our loyal customers and new folks possibly visiting us for the first time,” said TLA Marketing Director Brian Sokel. “It’s exciting to know that every day of the month our customers will not only have the chance to shop the most complete DVD retail site online, but that we’ll actually be giving several lucky folks the chance to bring home a present for themselves as well.”

To enter, visit any TLA online retail destination daily to see the prize that can be won that day. A purchase from any TLA online retail site automatically earns an entry for the buyer; however, no purchase is necessary. Visitors can fill out an online form to be entered.

Winners will be notified the next day via email and listed on the TLA websites. Visitors may enter every day to score prizes, including a Sony PlayStation 2; gift certificates from Banana Republic, The Gap, and TLAVideo.com; iPods, and a Sony Mini-DV Handicam.

TLA Entertainment Group was founded in 1981 as the Theatre for the Living Arts, a film repertory cinema. In 1985, TLA opened its first video-rental store, focusing on independent, international, and gay/lesbian-themed films. Expanding to six stores in Philadelphia and New York City, the company now also owns an award-winning home entertainment retail website, publishes more than two million direct-mail catalogs annually, presents both The Philadelphia Film Festival and the Philadelphia International Gay and Lesbian Film Festival, and since 2001 has branched into theatrical distribution with TLA Releasing. This year marks the celebration of its 25th anniversary.
