Henceforward, HotmoviesForHer, a female-oriented sibling of video-on-demand website HotMovies, will feature Sydni Ellis’ weekly column, “Between Takes.”
As a writer, director, and performer for the lesbian studio Girlfriend Films, Ellis provides first-hand insight to the adult world.
“Society has a double standard when it comes [to] watching porn: Men are expected to watch it, but women should feel ashamed for enjoying it,” commented the site’s chief editor, Monica L. “Many women would never admit that they enjoy porn, and most women who don't enjoy porn have probably not had the opportunity to find movies that turn them on.
“I’m honored and very excited that Sydni will be contributing and working more closely with us,” Monica continued. “Having someone who is working in the industry in such a female-positive way offering her perspective on our site gives our users a more personal connection to what they are watching, which is important to a lot of women.”
