LOS ANGELES - Legendary XXX photographer Suze Randall has launched SuzeClassics.com, a new paysite featuring her hardcore movies and photo sets from the '70s and '80s.
Suze collaborated on the site with her daughter, photographer Holly Randall. After discovering rare 16mm film prints in the Randall home, Holly transferred roughly 60 hours of her mother's vintage porn flicks from 1-inch video masters to 2000K DVD-quality files.
"We did some market research and realized there was a solid demand for the classics, so a light went off in my head," said Holly Randall. "The digital remasters look fantastic and it's nice to see we can earn back some incremental revenues from content my Mom and Dad shot back in the '70s. Most of the videos have never been released online. It's kind of exciting actually - and the soundtrack on these videos alone is worth the price of admission."
The site offers rare stills and film clips of Jenna Jameson, Ginger Lynn, Amber Lynn, Kelly Nichols, Racquel Darrian, Angel, Debi Diamond, Cara Lott, Paula Harlow, Pippi Anderson, Loni Sanders, and other classic porn stars. Among the highlights of the collection are rare images of suicide queens Savannah and Shauna Grant.
Many of the movie clips are taken from vintage Caballero features such as Sky Foxes, Kiss & Tell, Suze's Centerfolds and Too Naughty to Say No. The site allows users to search its archives for niche content (blondes, stocking fetish, big bush, high heels, smoking) and offers a generous selection of large format, digitally remastered stills.
"A lot of our members kept asking for my mom's older sets in higher-res format," said Holly, "So I figured it would be a great addition to the Classics site to re-release those in waves as well and bring them up to modern standards. The chromes have all been rescanned, and we have a very talented photo-prepper on staff who's giving them the same gleam of any modern digital photos I've seen. I'm very happy with the results. The best part is we've found dozens of sets never before released online. I think Suze Classics will be a great way to check out how porn was made in the early days - before digital cameras, web and mass production changed the entire scene. Funny to think it's new and interesting all over again."
Each Suze Classics membership gives the subscriber free access to Suze's growing network of sites including Suze.net and SuzeVideo.com.
