LONDON -- How much time do British teens spend looking at online porn? At least one hour and 40 minutes a week - but it's mostly "soft porn," according to a recent survey.
The study was conducted by global research organization OnePoll.com for parental lock software company CyberSentinel. Results showed that UK teens spend 87 hours a year looking at softcore sites.
Porn accounts for a small percentage of the time British teens spend online. Of an average 31 hours a week, respondents spent 3.5 hours instant-messaging friends, two hours on YouTube, 100 minutes downloading music, and three hours using the Internet for homework.
According to MSN UK, other studies found that average teens in Britain spend more than eight hours a week surfing for information about cosmetic surgery, dieting and weight loss, family planning and emotional support.
