SugarDVD Offers Support to Rapper 50 Cent

LOS ANGELES - SugarDVD owner Jax has publicly offered to buy 200,000 copies of rapper 50 Cent’s latest album, Curtis, to put the hip-hop artist ahead of Kanye West in the record sales rivalry between the two artists. According to Jax’ deal, all 50 Cent has to do is agree to wear a SugarDVD t-shirt for one year.

“He must wear it in all situations,” said Jax. “In hot tubs, on video shoots, walking down the beach …you name it. We are completely serious. All 50 has to do is agree to wear the t-shirts and he's back.”

Last month, West changed the release date of Graduation, his third studio album to the same Sept. 11 release date as Curtis. This forced the albums to go head-to-head and compete for higher sales. 50 Cent claimed that if Graduation sold more records than Curtis, he would stop releasing solo albums.

Jax told the press that he's always been a huge hip-hop fan, and believes that 50 Cent is one of the genre's most gifted artists.
