HOLLYWOOD, Fla. - Two special workshops have been added to the lineup for Internext Florida, scheduled for Aug. 8-10 at the Westin Diplomat in Hollywood, Fla.
The first, a legal workshop presented by industry attorney J.D. Obenberger, is slated for 9-10 a.m. Friday. This event will set out the core legal knowledge that every producer and website operator must possess and use to operate safely through the increasingly dangerous waters of the adult Internet.
While the seminar will be a valuable update for everyone involved in this industry online, it is especially intended for the small and medium operators who don't have a lawyer on retainer they can regularly consult. This workshop is intended to provide essential legal information that should be in the possession of everyone involved in the online adult industry. Larger operations are invited to attend, too, and to send their photographers, designers and key employees.
"I promise the same hard-hitting and engaging kind of seminar, packing the maximum information into the time, that has become my trademark," Obenberger said. "It's my job to keep you awake at 9 a.m. Florida time, and I promise to do precisely that. Bring your questions."
The second workshop has Wildline! presenting a Google Advertising Secrets seminar at 4 p.m. Saturday, as well as some workshops at 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. Friday and Saturday.
Billed as a chance for former Google employees to "teach attendees how the team at Wildline! has been turning profits for webmasters in the largest search engine online," the seminar will be moderated by Johnny V of I-Bridge international and DHD Media.
"This is really for the good of the industry," explained Charles Hentrich, president of Wildline! "We want to show people in adult how to better use AdWords so they can be better advertisers. In this seminar, they will what they need to do and what they need to know.
"This is absolutely not a sales pitch," Hentrich said of the seminar. "We really want Google to see adult advertisers as some of the best in the business, and this seminar will give the adult industry the know-how to do that."
