PORTLAND, Ore. – Spartacus Enterprises, home of the online shopping site Spartacus Leather, has hired one new employee and promoted two others.
The company today announced that Megan Driscoll, a recent Reed College graduate who was president of the Reed Fetish Club, has joined Spartacus as its new Web designer. Driscoll said in a statement that her experience in the bondage and fetish markets will help her in her new position, adding, “I’m excited about joining an energetic and creative team to promote such great products.”
Meanwhile, former Spartacus retail associate Carmel Weaver has been promoted to art director, and Sean Christensen has been promoted to sales and marketing manager. He will work closely with Vice President Laurie Bergquist in leading the sales and marketing direction of the company.
“With our 20-year anniversary sneaking up on us, it is a pleasure to welcome Megan, and heartwarming to see Carmel and Sean elevated to their new positions,” Bergquist said in a statement. “They offer us a fresh new outlook and bring sinful new ideas to the table that are exciting to me.”
