SkinVideo: The place for adult content

Online viewers looking for quick, easy and unlimited access to licensed adult content need look no further than the aptly named SkinVideo.

Updated hourly and offering hundreds of kink and fetish DVD and amateur content in every sexual niche known to man, viewers simply search, download and view.

In business since 1998, SkinVideo offers a unique keyword tagging system that allows members to narrow down content to exactly what they want to see, from actors, to hair color, to body type to sexual position. Major studio material is featured as well as more than 2257 compliant amateur scenes.

"I license content from hundreds of major studios around the world," said Kathleen Morford, vice president of marketing at SkinVideo. "We also have rare amateur content and offer semi exclusive video. The main reason people come to SkinVideo is to see hard to find niche videos. And we've spent a lot of time categorizing our site for this crowd. You name it. It's all there."

Viewers can search within the terabytes of continuously refreshed videos using advanced search utilities to find relevant content then filter the search results by keyword, file size, video duration, and other criteria. After finding the desired content, they can then save, manage and update searches automatically according to their preferences.

Each video, which can be viewed in Flash regardless of format, can be previewed as rolling thumbnails or in an extracted frame format so that users can download only the files they want.

In a recent attempt to attract more college-aged viewers, SkinVideo is now completely compatible with the Apple iPhone and iPod Touch as well as Sony PSP and Apple iPod formats.

"College level porn consumers have been carrying their porn collection on their smart phone, PSP, and video iPod for years," Morford told AVN Online's Justin Bourne following the announcement last April. "If you plan on tapping into that market, you have to consider the new trends and lifestyle accommodations of these future members. When there's a crowd of 19-year-olds huddling in a dorm room over someone's iPhone to watch a midget gangbang video, I want it to be from SkinVideo."

The added compatibility will also make SkinVideo content more accessible to surfers on the go and allow members to access their favorites or discover new content by browsing niche categories and tags.

"We're making ourselves more attractive to the college crowd as well as the nerdy 30-somethings who love gadgets like we do," Morford said. "So many people have iPhones we thought it was only right to make SkinVideo 100 percent iPhone compatible too. A lot of sites say they are, but you'll only see a portion of their content on your iPhone. Every video we have in the SkinVideo site is easily found via your iPhone. That's over 15 terabytes of videos with a new one added every hour. We're fucking crazy!"

While visitors to the site will find actors being screwed in many different ways, SkinVideos' members-first philosophy remains intact. "So many adult sites fuck over surfers these days," Morford said. "We're one of the good guys. We don't cross sell, up sell or spam. Our hourly video updates speak volumes of how we treasure our members. It helps our retention. And our retention helps us give incredibly generous payouts to webmasters on a consistent basis. Our goal is to continue to bring more and more functionality and quality improvements to the site over the next year. We feel that's what tube sites are lacking and we want to remain competitive in the new online landscape."

With the recent changes to its business model, including 100 percent licensed content, an increase in the number of video updates per day and re-launched webmaster stats, SkinVideo is making every effort to show competitors it is in the industry to stay.

"We're looking for webmasters that respect our changes and want to promote a site that doesn't screw surfers or webmasters or studios," Morford said. "I wish more adult companies were dedicating their time to improving their sites to remain competitive instead of lowering their business development standards to mere corporate sabotage. There's no longer a reason for people to hate us, so why not work with us? [The bottom line is] we just want to make an honest dollar with an adult site that is increasingly better than others."
