CALABASAS, Calif. - Escom, the company behind the new Sex.com, announced on Thursday that it has hired Tom Hymes as its news director.
Hymes will be responsible for developing Sex.com's news channel and will help develop and produce exclusive radio and TV shows for the site. He also will provide public-relations services for the company.
The news channel will provide news and entertaining stories, interviews and features about celebrities, culture and the adult entertainment industry.
"Adding someone who has the talent and intrinsic qualities like Tom to our team is a major step forward for us," said Del Anthony, CEO and president of Sex.com. "I believe his insight and experience will play a major role in helping create an informative and innovative news channel ... that will keep adults coming back time and time again."
Hymes said he is thrilled about helping to create a destination for news and entertainment.
