BERLIN - A Google Groups thread is reporting that Google Germany has removed several, and possibly all, video sites from their index.
In the thread, an adult video site owner posted a message stating his adult tube site and those of his competitors were removed from Google.de.
Posters reported that searches for similar sites returned the message, "A URL that otherwise would have appeared in response to your search was not displayed because that URL was reported as illegal by a German regulatory body."
The message did not state which "German regulatory body" was involved.
Another poster reported a message that said the sites were removed because of local laws.
