Realtouch Adds Rental Option Along With Free Alternative

CHARLOTTE, NC—Innovative masturbation device RealTouch is adding new features that will provide owners with more usage options. The proprietary haptic device with specially encoded video-on-demand to create an immersive experience for the viewer/participant now allows customers to view their favorite scenes on a seven day rental and unlimited viewing basis.

"It's all about the customer," said RealTouch product manager Scott Rinaldo. "The new purchase options have been on the schedule since the launch several months back and we will be introducing additional enhancements to our customers as we go forward."

Until now, RealTouch enabled video had only been available on a pay-per-minute basis. While this popular feature, which allows customers to engage or sample any of the approximately one thousand scenes already encoded in the RealTouch library, will remain, the new features enable customers to enjoy their favorite scenes over and over for a single price.

The rental option will give customers the scene of their choice unrestricted for a seven day period. The unlimited option provides infinite access to the scene of their choice. There is no constraint on the number of scenes that RealTouch owners can purchase by rental or unlimited access options.

Additionally, a feature which allows the device to be used at no charge without video will now be available to customers. As RealTouch is not a standalone device, though, it must still have an online connection to RealTouch.com in order to receive the digitally encoded haptic signals that instruct it what to do.

"The free use is good but what makes RealTouch exceptional is that it's on the leading edge of experiential entertainment," said therapist Dr. Michael Perry. "When combined with the encoded VOD, it takes users into a world that's truly immersive, providing exceptionally realistic and "hands-free" sexual simulation for men."

The haptic technology behind RealTouch is found in everything from space shuttle flight-simulators to touch-screen mobile phones. It was developed for RealTouch by a former NASAaffiliated engineer who had previously worked at the Human Perception Lab of California's Ames Research Center
