Private Sponsoring Online 'Dirty Santa' Contest

BARCELONA, Spain - Private Media Group has announced details of its holiday contest, designed to promote the release of the movie Dirty Santa.

Fans of Private and the movie have the chance to win €3,000 by answering three questions, the answers to which are in the movie. The contest was inspired by requests of forum members on Private's website, who asked to see their fantasies acted out on the screen by Private girls. The contest runs Dec. 1 through Jan. 31, 2009.

"This is the fifth competition Private has run this year to promote its releases to consumers and response has been phenomenal" commented Santiago Castejón, Private's director of marketing. "Our strategy is to create hype about releases and promotions in store and online. We are increasingly directing our marketing focus on not only the end user but also on the retailer, the staff and opportunities to brand the store. We are continually trying to narrow the gap between our linear and digital customers."

Once the movie has been released, fans can visit Private.com/Xmas and submit their answers for a chance at the cash prize. Bonus prizes will be awarded to all participants, ranging from a Christmas e-card featuring a video of Private Sexclusives Tarra White and Lucy Belle to a downloadable 2009 calendar featuring Private girls.

The competition will be promoted via a mainstream press advertising campaign, on DVD case inserts, through banners on Private.com and with webmasters on the Private Cash affiliate program.
