BRIGHTON, England - Private Media Group has been announced as the newest big name on Global Digital Broadcast's "top 20" list for triple-X content.
With more than 1,000 hard and soft titles and almost 200 industry awards to its name, Private Media Group takes the top adult programming position, channel 901 on the online platform and the PlayTV U.K. set-top-box service.
"The U.K. is a key IPTV market for Private and is part of our aggressive new-media growth strategy, which has already seen us achieve 100 percent penetration in the French and German IPTV markets," said Peter Cohen, chief operating officer of Private Media Group. "We have compelling positioning on GDBTV's adult platform, which guarantees us large amounts of traffic and incremental revenue potential. This is a great deal for both parties."
Private Media Group, based in Spain, is known for its Hollywood-style exotic locations and superstar casts. The company produces several lines, including Private Blockbusters, Private Tropical, Private Gold and Private Fetish, and showcases adult stars such as Silvia Saint, Michelle Wild, Laura Angel, Julia Taylor and newcomer Boroka.
