MONTREAL - Gina Lynn, Jenna Haze and Jules Jordan are three of the porn industry's top stars ... and PremiumCash has them all.
In addition, the company has eight niche sites such as Her First MILF, Sperm Swallowers, and Housewives' Adventures, all included in its affiliate program. Add 50 percent rev-share, $35 per signup, and 5 percent Webmaster referrals to entice new affiliates to the fold, and PremiumCash has a lot going for it. Actually, that's the whole point: In a world of ever-tightening competition for the porn consumer's dollar, PremiumCash is doing whatever it can to stay ahead of the pack.
So where did PremiumCash come from, and how did it manage to sign Lynn, Haze and Jordan?
"PremiumCash is basically a marriage between Mile High Media and Braincash that came about over time," said Mile High Media GM Jon Blitt. "For years, Braincash had been running Mile High's Doghouse Digital brand online. After numerous discussions we felt there was a void in the marketplace for an affiliate program that focused solely on the top talent in the industry. A lot of the top-name porn stars in the market do not have representation on the Web and we felt that there was a huge growth opportunity to fill that void.
"But we are not only selling porn stars, we are selling brands, as many of our partners have spent years building their personal brand images," Blitt told AVN Online. As a result of these solid brand images, "Our conversions are better than other general sites, since people trust our brands more than generic websites. Plus you not only get the content, but you get that personal interaction with the model through her blog, forum, and live shows, and that is something that can't be stolen."
"Mile High has been in the DVD side of the business for over 20 years and Braincash is a leader in the online business," said Blitt. "But that's not all: I think it's a combination of both our reputations as a whole, as well as long-lasting relationships built on success and trust that have allowed us to sign such stars. When talent and studios are looking at the Internet, the most important thing for them is to find a company to work with that has a good reputation with its partners. That is what we strive for; building trust is what we are all about."
To date, PremiumCash's porn star sites are weathering the current economic downturn. "PremiumCash is still growing strongly, but that's not the case for the majority of the programs out here," Blitt noted.
In today's tight market, making consumers feel as if they are actually connecting with their favorite porn stars can be a potent sales tool, and one that gives affiliates an edge over generic niche sites. "This will be the first recession for the online industry and I don't think we are recession-proof as a lot of people are claiming, so I think there will be some negative effects. But, as a whole, PremiumCash is a young and new program that is growing at a rapid pace by offering consumers a personalized experience that they just can't find for free on torrents and tubes."
To maintain growth, PremiumCash is focused on supporting its affiliates in any way it can. "Since we are partners with the porn stars, we can come with customized content and meet webmasters' special requests, to help our affiliates create better advertising," he said. "These customized marketing tools mean a lot to our affiliates, especially in a market that is so competitive like this. We try to accommodate any and all requests our affiliates might have."
PremiumCash also wants to help its affiliates boost their own revenues, Blitt adds. "We are always there to help webmasters improve their conversion, and working closer with us is the key to generate better revenue. We welcome all affiliates to contact us and see how we can better serve their traffic needs."
Looking ahead, PremiumCash will continue to expand its stable of official porn star sites.
"We already have other major ones in progress that will be announced soon," Blitt said. "2009 will be the year where PremiumCash becomes the number one source for official porn star sites on the Internet!"
Only time will tell if he's right.
