Peekshows.com was established in 1999 as one of the pioneering live webcam companies. The Las Vegas based live webcam agency focused primarily on live adult webcams and nude chat. The business model’s similarities to the core business of Flirt4Free made it an attractive acquisition target.
Founded in 1996, Flirt4Free has paved the way for the live cam industry by integrating live chats and shows with interactive gamification features. Flirt4Free’s acquisition of Peekshows.com is only the natural next step in the evolution of the live web cam industry, which will emphasize a bolder brand and image for the California-based web company. Furthermore, Flirt4Free will continue its ongoing effort and commitment to expanding its business into new media platforms.
