HAMILTON, Ontario—Just last week we reported on the unfortunate Comcast snafu in Colorado, in which two towns were cruelly denied their Good Morning America while being subjected to two hours of religious programming... and a few seconds of straight porn. It seems the demons of cultural destruction are not done. Another case of impromptu hardcorus interruptus hit our neighbors to the north this morning when three minutes of explicit gay porn popped onto the telly instead of Morning Live, their equivalent to GMA.
The Comcast hoo-ha was chalked up to human error somewhere in the vast Comcast pipeline—an investigation of which has been commenced and is expected to be completed by 2018—but in this case, the Ontario, Canada station, CHCH TV, said "technical errors" are to blame.
"CHCH is owned by Channel Zero, which also broadcasts adult movie services," reported Sun News. "But the station maintains the gay porn wasn't its gay porn."
An update on the Morning Live Twitter account explained, "The content did not originate at CHCH but was the result of a switching error at one of the cable companies that distributes our signal."
Another tweet reads, "CHCH extends sincere apologies to those viewers who were subjected to the material that took over our signal at 9:33 this morning."
There was no mention of where the porn originated.
