LONDON—Intellichat, which offers artificially intelligent "sales agents" for mainstream and adult websites, has hit a landmark, celebrating its one-millionth saved sale for customers. The company estimates it has earned an extra $150 million in otherwise lost revenue for their clients.
Launched some 18 months ago after a lengthy development period, Intellichat provides artificial-intelligence technology that can be tailored for each client's website to interact with web visitors and push sales.
In October 2008, Intellichat branched out into the adult industry, customizing its system to match companies' requirements. Responding to client needs, the company has continued to modify its service, including the addition of new video features combined with AI to push saved sales percentages to their fullest potential. Also, being integrated with NATS and compatible with MPA3, Intellichat Adult can be easily plugged into an existing setup.
"When intellichat was first launched, we never expected it would grow quite this quickly," said marketing director Nick Baker. "The first specification to our technical team was a system stable enough to handle 15,000 chats a day, which to our surprise we hit in the first month, and we are now hitting that figure every hour, so this project has really kept our technical team on their toes.”
Members of Team Intellichat will be attending Internext Summer this weekend in Hollywood, Fla. at the Westin Diplomat. They invite all interested in the Intellichat Adult A.I. system to to hook up for a drink and possibly talk some business, or to stop by the company's table during the Friday night Mix and Meet.
