New Star Productions Launches XXX-Movieoke with Contest

LOS ANGELES - New Star Productions is offering an online contest titled Porn Star Discovery in order to introduce the company's new and innovative entertainment-based software program XXX-Movieoke.

"The company calls the software XXX-Movieoke because it's like karaoke, except you act instead of sing," said Ron Jeremy, adult industry icon and New Star Productions "studio head."

The new software enables adult consumers to seamlessly place their image into a real video with their favorite porn star, according to New Star Production's "head mistress" Zoe Britton.

"The Porn Star Discovery contest was designed to introduce the XXX-Movieoke software to the adult industry," Britton added. "New Star Productions plans on utilizing Porn Star Discovery to find the newest and hottest talent for future New Star adult productions."

Any adult consumer owning a computer and Web camera can enter the contest by downloading the free software at the Porn Star Discovery website, set to debut on Nov. 1. The consumer then purchases a clip one to two minutes in length for $9.99 and rehearses the clips as many times as needed. Through a simple and user-friendly process, they record the action, live and in real time, as they capture their down-and-dirty moves in front of the Web camera.

The entire process depends on how long the consumer can keep it up. Once the deed is done, the consumers can share their clip with anyone via e-mail, or copy, transfer or upload to virtually any electronic media.

"We can't pump it into you enough ... the only way to enter our contest is to purchase and perform in one of the Porn Star Discovery clips and then post it to a personal Casting Page on our Porn Star Discovery website," Jeremy said. "Viewers will watch and vote on each performance, and those who get the most votes will win a contract with New Star Productions to star in one of our future projects."

The clips for the contest will be filmed in Los Angeles, Sept. 20-23. The Porn Star Discovery contest will be launched mid-November at an official launch party in Los Angeles.

Additionally, New Star Productions has announced the sub-licensing rights of XXX-Movieoke.

"We are looking to expand our customer base by examining every possible avenue in order to bring our products to a wide audience," New Star Production's Executive Producer DEF said. "One way of doing this is by allowing new partners to promote our XXX-Movieoke software in a sub-licensing capacity."
