WILMINGTON, N.C. - Affiliate program LuvLoot has just given men in the gay community another shot at finding their Mr. Rights — or Mr. Right Nows.
LuvLoot on Thursday announced the launch of its flagship dating site, ManLuv, which aims to service every facet of the gay market not only by catering to openly gay men, but also bisexual and bi-curious men.
"ManLuv does not offer any more — or, for that matter, any less — than any other gay personals website," claimed its founder, LuvLoot owner Melissa Bilodeau. "It does, however, give the user choices not available at other sites.
"ManLuv doesn't just ask if you are a man seeking a man; it goes deeper than that," she continued, citing a user's ability to search for specific types of listings. "Some masculine men prefer the feminine type. Couples looking for a third may prefer a bisexual man. We make that possible by breaking down the [type] even further than expected."
ManLuv is the culmination of nine years of preparation, Bilodeau said. "From the very beginning, I knew where I wanted to end up [and] what I wanted to do, though I will admit that until a year ago the gay market had not been part of that picture." But, saturation in the straight dating-site niche forced Bilodeau to seek out other arenas, and, after launching OfficiallyGay.com as a gay social-networking site, "the decision was made to target the gay surfer looking to hook up 'for a night or a lifetime,'" she stated.
The site offers users the ability to peruse member profiles, rate member photos, post their own blogs, and contact each other for hookups or dates. Bilodeau also said no fake profiles will be found on ManLuv. "Good people, fun, and romance [are] what we're all about," Bilodeau enthused. "This will hopefully be a big step toward unity for ManLuv and put it a step ahead of the rest."
LuvLoot offers 60-percent revshare payouts for the life of all referred members and features an array of webmaster tools, including banners, a picture-of-the-day script, and RSS feeds to help promote ManLuv.
"ManLuv has experienced tremendous growth in just a few short weeks," Bilodeau said. "We didn't launch it to compete with the bigger gay personals sites, but to cater to our customers. While other sites may feed off their customers, we hope to do just the opposite: Feed them by giving them exactly what they want in the form of new features, a growing membership base, and great customer service."
