LAS VEGAS—In what is the first press release AVN has received about a site on the .porn top-level domain—which along with the TLD .adult was just made available to the general public today by ICM Registry—the Naughty Tweet Network has announced its newest property: "Dick Burns' 3rd Degree," which resides at the URL 3rd.porn.
The parent to PornStarTweet.com, Tattle.XXX and Star.XXX, the Naughty Tweet Network today announced the site, which offers interactive quizzes that test fans' knowledge of adult entertainment, sex, relationships, toys and—of course—their favorite porn stars.
The newly designed 3rd.porn relies heavily on social media integration and its sister sites—specifically PornStarTweet, Star.XXX and the rest of the Naughty Tweet Network of sites—to gain viral traction.
Dick Burns' 3rd Degree debuted with five new quizzes that stress-test even the most hardcore of porn fans. "Sex Toy or Dog Toy" will challenge even the most devoted toy freaks and dog lovers, while "What Do You Really Know About Sex" measures general knowledge on the origins of sex.
Porn star devotees will want to test their adult industry acumen with "Name That Butt" and "Porn Star Tattoos."
"Social media is all about engaging and entertaining an audience," said Andrew Housley, who will helm the platform. "We created Dick Burns' 3rd Degree to be an entertaining, interactive website that draws users into having fun while we also present them with some sponsored advertising. This has proven to be very success in the mainstream because it goes beyond traditional banner advertising—this is truly interactive in generic quizzes, but the platform was designed to be robust to create custom quiz campaigns for website, production companies, toy manufacturers and more to increase brand awareness and direct sales."
Fans will be introduced to the site via giveaways and more at the Porn Star Tweet booth at the Exxxotica Expo, taking place in Chicago June 12-14).
