Naughty America Building Naughty America Direct

CHATSWORTH, Calif. - With the press terming it "iTunes for porn," Naughty America Direct is the production company's Adobe Air-based storefront that is now in private beta testing.

"Why should you pay $30 a month for scenes you won't ever watch?" Naughty America's site questions. "With Naughty America Direct, you only pay for the quality adult entertainment you want."

The application allows users to download full-length scenes for $1.99 that are compatible with iPods and iPhones. There is no subscription fee required for the service, which will feature content from Naughty America's vast catalogue. The application is built with Adobe Air, so it will work on Windows and Mac.

Mark Bauman of Naughty America was not immediately available for comment on the new application.

"Only pay for the scenes you want," the website states. "No hidden subscriptions, no contracts, and no re-bills. With DRM-free content from your favorite studios, you can now watch your adult entertainment anywhere you like."

Several tech writers and news sites, including Tech Crunch, have noted that users of Apple's iTunes should be comfortable with the format and navigation of Naughty America Direct, since featured movies are shown as thumbnails and users can find clips through their favorite performers or websites.
