PHILADELPHIA - The 2008 Asia Adult Expo, held at the Venetian Hotel in Macau, was a success for National A-1 Internet and event sponsor HotMovies.com.
More than 15,000 people attended the expo, which took place Dec. 5-7. Professional buyers and companies from 25 countries participated in the show.
"Looking towards the future, emerging markets across the globe are extremely important to the continued success of HotMovies.com and all adult companies," said James Cybert, National A-1's director of business development. "Millions of future consumers are hungry for adult videos, and we're excited to show them how wonderful and easy pay-per-minute viewing can be."
Organizers of AAE said plans are to expand future shows.
"We are now planning to hold it in Hong Kong and in Macau respectively, or hold AAE in Hong Kong and Macau in alternate years. The decision will be made within a month," said Kenny Lo, chief executive of Vertical Expo Services Co. Ltd.
