CYBERSPACE—We've heard that one or two adult stars can be found on Tinder, the location-based dating app where those looking to hook up, or just to share a meal with someone, can find possible dates in their local area and who knows, maybe even a mate.
But as is the case when any two virtual strangers meet in a possibly intimate situation, weird things can happen—and Timber the Series was created to highlight some of the weirdest.
Timber the Series was created by Natasha Charles Parker—L.A. locals will remember her as the star of The Deep Throat Sex Scandals, David Bertolino's play about the trials (literally and figuratively) of getting the movie Deep Throat made and distributed, with Parker essaying the Linda Lovelace role—and fellow actors/writers/producers Kelly Wallace-Barnhill and Lindsey Gentile. The series, they claim, is based on real-life Tinder dates, and focuses on the three gals trying to find love in all the wrong places—that is to say, Los Angeles.
So far, three webisodes have been released: Red Solo Cup, about a woman (Wallace-Barnhill) dating a stand-up comic; Sex and the Sedan, where "Let's go back to your place" takes on a whole new meaning; and Hold My Dick, which is almost self-explanatory, and stars Parker.
Or as the star herself puts it, "We'll give you a glimpse into the ridiculous, yet totally real struggles of online dating."
Each segment is less than five minutes long, so it's a quick diversion that's sexy and funny and weird all at once. The series can be found on YouTube here, and those wishing to receive notifications of future webisode releases can click here.
