Moniker.com to Auction Domains at Internext

POMPANO BEACH, Fla. - Moniker, the eight-largest registrar in the world, once again is showcasing an adult domain-name auction at this year's Internext, which will be held from Aug. 3-5 in Hollywood, Fla.

For those of you who had the chance to see the first auction at Internext Las Vegas, you may recall SheMales.com went for $500,000. Chris Leggatt, senior account executive at Moniker.com, told AVNOnline.com, "This year's auction is going to be much bigger, and as with anything new, it takes a little while for people to get used to the process. We're expecting great things from this year's auction."

In order to be involved with this year's auction, Leggatt explained that you'll need to start submitting your names for the Internext auction immediately. Here is how the process works. First, all interested parties need to submit an email to [email protected] or a general request email to [email protected] for an official auction submission form. Once the form is filled out, with the name(s) and reserve prices to submit to the auction, Leggatt, or another sales executive, officially submits the name(s).

The auction itself consists of two venues: first, the live auction, which has a live auctioneer and allows attendees to bid with paddles, as well as proxy bidding for those not in attendance; second is the silent auction, which is held online and is accessible worldwide for a minimal fee.

The final submission date is June 15. Leggatt promises this year's auction will be "an amazing, sexy, fun, and a somewhat wild experience."
