LOS ANGELES—ModelCentro, the solo-site CMS enabling models to run their own membership sites, has announced the launch of its mobile app.
The app is now available for iPhones or iPads via Apple's App Store.
ModelCentro said the purpose of the app is to provide the model with a way to complete day to day tasks directly on their mobile phone in order to ensure an effective interactive experience for their subscribers and fans without being confined to their computer.
The functions of the app include messaging subscribers and receiving their comments, as well as instant push notifications. Models will be able to monitor and review their revenue inside the App. Monetization of mobile content with images is also a feature already included in the app. Models can send locked pictures as up-sells to their members. More functions are in development and new features will be included in upcoming updates of the App.
“We know that the model’s lifestyle is always very fast paced,” said Natalie Pannon, head sales and marketing manager at ModelCentro. “Now, they don’t need to compromise their revenue just because they don’t have their computer at hand.
"We even have an improved live help and feedback function so models can quickly get assistance. We’re always there to help.”
