LOS ANGELES - Only a month after launching its own erotic mobile TV service, MidniteMonkey has announced the availability of its webmaster affiliate programs and turnkey private-label services for content owners.
MidniteMonkey offers an end-to-end mobile TV service that is available on wireless carriers worldwide. The streaming video leverages the carriers' 3G wireless networks and the streaming media players found on the majority of the carriers' handsets.
"We are essentially an [application service provider] helping content owners capitalize on their existing content catalog," stated a company representative. "Our solution is turnkey for current adult site owners. This service allows the private-label affiliate to leverage their existing brand and content in the wireless space."
Mobile TV services are gaining momentum in the U.S., and MidniteMonkey is assisting content owners in capturing their share of this profitable market, the company said. Juniper Research forecasts the mobile adult-content market to grow from $1.4 billion in 2006 to $3.3 billion by 2011.
MidniteMonkey plans to help site operators redirect their broadband traffic onto the wireless Web, then to MidniteMonkey. As a result, site operators will earn money from sales converted from the wireless redirects.
MidniteMonkey offers consultation, integration, and implementation services for brand extension in the wireless space.
