CORAL SPRINGS, Fla. - Affiliate program Medium Pimpin will kick off its third annual Pimpin Pools NFL Football Pickem Contest on Thursday at the start of the 2007 National Football League season.
Registration is free and open to anyone in the adult industry. Each week, participants must predict the winner of each NFL game and submit their picks before kickoff.
Players will compete for $27,000 in cash and prizes. A weekly $300 prize will be awarded to the player with the best picks; $1000 will be awarded for a perfect week. The prizes at the end of the season will be $6,000 for first place, $5,000 for second place, $4,000 for third place, $2,000 for fourth place and $1,000 for fifth place. Additionally, the NFL Survivor winner will be awarded $2,500, and the player in last place will receive an Xbox 360.
Mailman, chief
operating officer of Medium Pimpin, said this year's Pimpin Pools is the
"biggest yet."
"We take a lot
of pride in the fact that our pool is the largest of its kind, with the biggest
payouts, the best prizes and, by far, the best sponsors who help make it
possible each year," he said. "We look forward to running the pool each year
and plan on continuing on doing so."
In 2006, more than 250 players participated in Pimpin Pools, which YNOT Vice President LAJ said is
a "major fantasy-sports highlight for me every year."
To collect prizes, each winner must have a valid account with the respective prize sponsor. Players are encouraged to sign up with each contest sponsor when registering. The contest is sponsored by Pussy Cash, Rage Cash, Trust Cash, Mad Moolah, Niche Pay, Starlight Bucks and Freak Bucks.
