CYBERSPACE—There was no announcement or explanation but Manwin has as anticipated officially changed its name, to MindGeek. Manwin.com now redirects to mindgeek.com, with the new site barely indicating that the company has anything to do with adult entertainment.
"MindGeek is an international information technology firm, specializing in highly trafficked websites," reads the copy on the homepage. "The company creates, develops and manages some of the most recognized mainstream and adult entertainment brands in the world. As an uncontested market leader, MindGeek has developed various in-house technologies with respect to HD video streaming and website optimization, which enables it to compete on a matchless playing field."
It continues, "Headquartered in Luxembourg with management offices in Hamburg, London, Los Angeles, Nicosia, and Montreal, the company employs over 900 people."
The Solutions page lists a number of services, including Web Application Development, SEO, CRM, Website Optimization and Business Intelligence.
Only the Social Responsibility page implies an association with porn, listing as it does the company's 2010 Get Rubber! campaign and support for ASACP and FSC.
The Contact page lists addresses and contact information for the above-mentioned corporate locations.
