LAS VEGAS – WYPD Mexico creator “YNOT Bob” Rice will work with MIP Marketing to produce this year’s webmaster networking party. The 4-day throw-down will be Sept. 13-16 at the Baja Seasons resort in the beach community of La Salina, Mexico.
Rice said he expects this year’s gathering will rival 2006’s heavily touted “best year ever.”
“My schedule is very hectic right now with all the new projects we are developing over at Lightspeed Media,” he said. “That’s why I am very excited to have Ellisa and MIP Marketing to take over the pre-planning of this event so it can go on as it has for the last seven years.”
Princess Ellisa of MIP Marketing said, “WYPD has almost a cult following. It is an honor to be able to work with such a great and anticipated event. I look forward to bringing the sponsors and attendees something really fantastic this year.”
JFK, the mustachioed owner and chief photographer of F.U.B.A.R Webmasters, a perennial WYPD media sponsor, has signed on once again to handle the visual coverage.
WYPD Mexico is an assembly that brings webmasters together in a more laid-back format than traditional trade shows. Over the seven years of its existence, it has become one of the most eagerly anticipated happenings of the busy show season.
