Lusty Library Celebrates Two Years Online

CHARLOTTE, N.C. - Erotic-fiction website Lusty Library celebrates its second anniversary this month.

Since its launch in 2005, the site has drawn more than 50,000 members and archived about 4,000 stories in a library said to "tantalize any sexual appetite" with its daily updates.

"We are very proud of Lusty Library's success, and we're pleased that it only continues to grow, even after two years," publicist Kellie Barker said. "It has attracted members from all over the world, and they've built a great community together based around sharing their stories with each other. While it started out as a place to house erotic fiction, it's become that and more."

The library holds themed writing contests, including its Halloween and "Story of the Year" competitions. The site also offers resources such as writing tips for story contributors.

"I was one of the first to submit my stories after stumbling across the site when it was first up," writer Maddy said. "I thought I had finally found a safe and exciting place on the Internet to share my writing and to just hang out. I don't post in the forums as much as I used to, but I'm still there reading all the new stories just about every day. I can't get enough."
