CARTAGENA, Colombia—LiveCams and many other adult entertainment niches are more popular and lucrative than they have ever been. This is especially true in South America. This is why it has become custom for LALExpo to hold the event in an exciting and attractive city each year and next year is no different. The host city for our 2016 event is Cartagena.
For next year’s show, we have renamed the event Latin America Adult Business Expo since we are expanding the conference to include adult business in general rather than just Livecams.
If the success of this year is any indication, next year’s event is going to be even more epic. The 2015 show had over 1,300 attendees and hundreds of deals were closed. All companies and attendees had the opportunity to significantly expand their reach to an unexploited new market. The show featured some helpful workshops and seminars as well as parties and other networking events for everyone in the adult industry, not just LiveCam companies.
The stunning port city of Cartagena is a modern fishing village on Colombia’s Caribbean coast. The walled Old Town in the heart of the city features 16th-century plazas, colorful colonial architecture and beautiful cobblestone streets. The tropical climate also makes Cartagena a popular beach destination and a great place to hold next year’s event.
Another great change to next year’s event is that the entire event will take place at the show hotel. The last two years there were events at two separate venues (convention center and hotel). Next year’s event will take place entirely at the show hotel.
Because it’s the only adult industry event in Latin America, there will be a wide variety of adult entertainment-based companies and professionals from Central and South America who don’t normally attend the U.S. and European shows for various reasons.
