FT. LAUDERDALE, Fla -- Longtime Klixxx photographer Mike B. has moved on and the adult industry magazine has reportedly gone bi-monthly.
"It's not my cup of tea to do a bi-monthly," he told AVN Online. "It was an amicable parting of the ways, though."
"I had a contract that said I couldn't work for anyone else," he said. "I told them 'I can't do that if you guys go bi-monthly.' Now I can do whatever I want to do."
And what will that be? Mike B's not sure.
"I have no idea right now," he said. "I'm probably still going to go to shows, take the pictures and sell the pictures."
He now plans to appear in a multitude of adult outlets.
"I'll do it on my own -- work for FUBAR, AVN, whoever needs me," he said. "And I'll still do something for Klixxx."
Mike B. had no information regarding the publication's future.
AVN Online contacted several of Klixxx's advertisers and partners, and none were clear on future frequency of the magazine. Though the publication is based in Panama, the photographer was responsible for putting the magazine together and overseeing the printing, binding and mailing from his home in Fort Lauderdale, he said.
Klixxx's publisher has not been available for comment. When last checked, the main site page was down, though the subscription page was still available.
