CORVALLIS, Ore.—Kendra Sunderland, the woman who made worldwide headlines after having shot a sexually explicit webcam show in the Oregon State University library, pled guilty yesterday to the misdemeanor charge of "public indecency" with which she had been charged back in January.
Although Sunderland, dubbed the "Library Girl" in many media stories, could have faced a year in jail and a fine of $6,250, what she got was a $1,000 fine and no jail time or any other additional penalties.
Since making the news, Sunderland has fielded several offers to do hardcore scenes, including from Popporn.com, and a contract offer from Devil's Film. She's also been offered—and accepted—a toy deal from Pipedream Products, has appeared in the documentary CamGirlz, auditioned to become an anchor on The Naked News, and landed a spread in Penthouse magazine, whose owner, FriendFinder, has her under exclusive contract for webcamming on their newest cam site, PlayWithMe.com.
So remember, all you 18-year-old-and-up college girls, DO NOT perform live sexy cam shows in your college library, or else you may wind up like Kendra Sunderland—and is it really worth risking that prestigious service industry career?
