Internext Summer 2008 Brings Together All Aspects of Adult

HOLLYWOOD, Fla. - Internext Summer 2008, which took place Aug. 8-10 at the Westin Diplomat in Hollywood, Fla., was a physical manifestation of the future of the adult entertainment industry: a convergence of the online, video and novelty sectors of the industry.

While the show is a perennial favorite of those in the online adult community, this year's installment showed that the future of the industry means all areas working together. In addition to long-time sponsors and attendees of Internext Summer 2008 such as PussyCash, Silvercash, CCBill and Too Much Media, video companies and representatives such as Max Hardcore, John Stagliano and Evil Angel were present, in addition to adult novelty company Rocks-Off were in attendance.

Representatives from all areas of the adult entertainment industry either had booths at Internext Summer 2008, or participated in a number of seminars offered during the three-day show. Stagliano even presented the event's keynote address, and touched on everything from the status of his current federal obscenity prosecution to "the five things my attorneys don't want me to talk about in public."

Add to that the numerous parties - from the pre-show Mix and Meet Market and the Vegas in Miami casino cruise sponsored by DeeCash to the Gay Webmaster Parties sponsored by Epoch, ImLive, Buddy Profits, Men4Rent Now, NakedSword, Badpuppy, Dirty Boy Video, Traffic Dude, and Gay Greenbacks.

It all proved once again that Internext Summer 2008 is the best show to attend each summer for value, networking opportunities and business opportunities.

"The Internext show in Florida is always one of my favorite conventions, and this year wasn't any different," said Michael H. Klein, president of LFP Publications, parent company of Hustler. "The highlight is the fact that everyone is congregated in one location within the lovely Diplomat hotel, so the opportunity to run into someone that could be beneficial to your business occurs with high frequency."

Samantha Lewis, president of Digital Playground, agreed.

"This year's Internext was one of the most beneficial networking conventions that I have personally attended," she said. "I gained so much valuable information that will really help us with our Web presence with my company's new websites DigitalPlayground.com and PiratesXXX.com.

"I established a lot of new business relationships and sealed some really sweet deals. It was also great to put a face to a name. This was an incredible networking show. The setting of this convention in Hollywood, Florida, you couldn't ask to be in a more beautiful, great energy location."

As companies continue to search for shows that give them the most bang for their buck and the most chances to find new business partners in the online, video and novelty areas of the adult entertainment industry, the Internext Summer shows only promise to get bigger and better.
