POMPANO BEACH, Fla. - The live adult domain auction, which took place Friday, Aug. 8, during Internext Summer 2008 in Hollywood, Fla., saw more than 55 domain sales totaling more than $500,000 in sales, with BJ.com topping the list at a sale price of $200,000.
Other big sellers were Anal.net, which sold for $90,000, and Shemales.net, which sold for $60,000.
The online version of the event, which features between 2,000 and 3,000 adult domain names, continues through Thursday at Moniker.com.
Prices range from $500 to more than $1 million and cover a variety of B2B and end-user keywords and topics.
