CHATSWORTH, Calif. - AVN Media Network announces
Internext
Las Vegas 2008 will take place at the Palms Casino Resort from Jan.
13-15.
"I believe this conference will bring the entire industry together in one
spectacular venue, and the Palms will offer an increased networking
opportunity, as well as a closer-knit feel," said AVN Online Co-Publisher
MJ McMahon. "Business and networking, as always, will be the focus of this
year's show."
This premier event for adult-entertainment
professionals in the digital-media marketplace no longer will have a traditional exhibit floor.
Instead, the conference will be held in the 25,000-square-foot Rain nightclub
at the Palms, which will offer VIP rooms, private skyboxes, indoor cabanas,
fully stocked bars and a stage with ongoing entertainment.
"We're ecstatic to announce the move to the Palms," Senior Show
Manager Renee Johnson said. "This hotel is a great fit for the Internext
program."
Internext also has reserved all fantasy-themed suites on the 25th and 26th
floors for a "block party." The two floors include some of the most decadent
suites on the strip, complete with peek-a-boo showers, dancer poles, full bars
and a bowling alley.
"We wanted to make a radical change, and this venue enabled us to do just
that," Johnson said. "From the one-of-a-kind fantasy suites to the
exciting floor activities taking place in the Rain nightclub, this venue has it
all."
Internext Las Vegas will feature a fundamental education program, including an
opening keynote address that will focus on the evolving needs of the adult
industry. The Live Adult Domain Auction, a staple of the past two shows, will
return to offer attendees the chance to bid on high-profile industry domains.
Past auctions have featured such premier domains as Bisexual.com, Dirty.com,
Pimps.com and Taboo.com.
