Internext Expo Heads Back to the Big Easy for 15th Anniversary

CHATSWORTH, Calif.—Internext marks its 15th anniversary with a return to the city where the show first started back in 2000. From May 28 through May 30, 2014, the Internext show will take place at the New Orleans Downtown Marriott at the Show Center in the beautiful, historic Louisiana city.

Participants attending Internext will be kept busy nonstop with exceptional educational seminars, intimate workshops, speed networking sessions that will let them get the most from everyone they meet, and multiple traffic dinners at some of the best restaurants New Orleans has to offer. And, of course, numerous parties will be held throughout the city. The brand-new Live Domain Auction will also take place during the show. Estimated attendance for the expo will be around 1,000 attendees.

“I have wanted to bring back a second Internext show for some time now,” said Theo Sapoutzis, CEO of AVN Media Network.“The industry has been asking for it for years, but we thought this was the right time to launch our second show in the city of New Orleans.”

A co-located VIBE Show will also take place during Internext, as well as special networking events to bring the entire industry together.

Since 2000, Internext has been the place where adult industry professionals from around the world come to grow their businesses, and this year they’ll also be able to enjoy the excitement of New Orleans as well. Countless opportunities exist for sponsors and attendees to meet industry leaders not only from the online sector but also from every other sector of the business.

The history of New Orleans reads like a fantastic novel; its energy, aesthetics and vibrancy make it the perfect setting for Internext. Over the years New Orleans has had a powerful influence on American and global culture. The cuisine is known across the world; from the innovative sounds of jazz, rock & roll was born. Literary giants from Tennessee Williams to William Faulkner have looked to the city for inspiration. The food, music and culture of the city will capture the imagination and enlighten the heart.

Diversity, creativity and celebration are at the core of the New Orleans way of life. New Orleans was selected as the "Best Large City" by AAA Southern Traveler's "Best of the South" reader poll. In addition to being named the best city for a weekend getaway, New Orleans also placed first in the following categories: Best City for Live Music, Best Outdoor Dining Spot (Court of Two Sisters), Best Attraction in New Orleans (French Quarter) and Best Day Tour from New Orleans (Louisiana's Great River Road—New Orleans to Baton Rouge).
