Internext Domain Name Auction to Benefit ASACP

HOLLYWOOD, Fla. - Moniker and Internext have teamed to auction off AdultWebDesigner.com during Internext 2007. Proceeds will benefit the Association of Sites Advocating Child Protection.

ASACP Executive Director Joan Irvine said her organization is "very grateful" for the planned donation.

"Two of the most difficult things a nonprofit must do are to raise funds and to raise awareness," she told AVN Online, adding the donation will help ASACP in both of those efforts.

"Internext and Moniker are very excited to be donating the proceeds from the sale of AdultWebDesigner.com to ASACP," said AVN Media Network Director of Licensing Farley Cahen. "ASACP is an important nonprofit organization fighting child pornography. As industry leaders, Monte Cahn and I were more than happy to step up and assist Joan Irvine and ASACP in generating funds to help continue their efforts."

Committed to eliminating child pornography from the Internet, ASACP works with the online adult industry to combat the exploitation of children.

Internext attendees automatically are eligible to attend the live and silent auctions. Those who don't attend Internext can register for absentee bidding for $299. To register for telephone bidding, call (800) 688-6311 or send e-mail to [email protected].
