Internext Attendees Rock the ‘Block Party’

LAS VEGAS - On the second night of parties for Internext Las Vegas, hundreds of key players in the adult industry rocked the "Block Party" in the Fantasy Suites of the Palms Casino Resort.

Attendees were welcomed by top companies who opened their Fantasy Suites with open bars from 6-8 p.m. Monday.

Among the suites were the Real World Suite, the Kingpin Suite (which featured a bowling alley in the room) and the Director's Suite (site of the Porn Poker Tour, with live video interviews of girls playing with furry handcuffs). The Erotic Suite party hosted by AVN Online included a stripper in a show shower - complete with a stripper pole - and a rotating bed.

"All of the sponsors had said that they have gotten so much more business done at parties like this, myself included," Derek of Adult Who's Who said in the g Suite.

"It's awesome!" added Bob Rice of LightspeedCash. "It's a fantastic opportunity for webmasters to get together in a chill environment and do business."

"This ‘Block Party' is like the next-best thing to getting laid!" Rand Pate of Epoch added while walking by.

Mark of the affiliate program IntenseCash said he was very pleased with the party and Internext Las Vegas as a whole.

"There needed to be a change of venue for the event," he said. "Moving the event was a wise move by AVN."

Overall, the best party was hosted by NakedSword in the Kingpin Suite, which had a bowling alley in the room. Albert Jones of NakedSword was ecstatic about the turnout, about 100 attendees.

The company opened its party with announcements of new moves, including news about The Sword.

As Tim Valenti of AEBN put it, "The Sword is what Gay.com should have been."

"Tonight's presentation went really well," he said. "I believe that people are really responsive to what we will be doing this year. They were also impressed with our partners on all different levels. It's not all gay. We are dealing with top producers and studios from all styles."

As the "Block Party" closed at 9 p.m., everyone took a trip to Cybersocket's event at the Real World Suite to party where MTV's reality show "The Real World: Las Vegas" was shot.
