NEW DELHI, India -- Watch out, Bollywood, here comes Bollyporn, cartoon-style. A new Internet comic book porn star is finding fans in India and outside that country as well.
The site SavitaBhabhi (“sister-in-law Savita)” features a horny heroine MILF who seduces a door-to-door salesman, a doctor, a cricket player, and much to the disdain of the Indian entertainment biz, a comic book ringer for Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachchan.
Unlike virginal female stars in Bollywood films who flirt and then barely kiss at most, the character of Sativa, whose husband is always at work, does it all, from striptease to oral to full-on hardcore by the end of the online comics.
While porn is illegal in India, most of her visitors are from within the country and her stories are based on fantasies of the site's fans, said the comic's creator, Deshmukh.
"We get 60 million unique visitors every month. The average time a visitor spends on our site is more than 10 minutes,” the site's administrator told GlobalPost. "Almost 70 percent of our traffic is from India, while the rest is from the U.S., UK and more than 80 other countries.”
The site, which offers the comic in 10 different Indian languages, as well as English, is now putting out the call for script writers and translators.
Of course, porn comics of all kinds are nothing new and have been around for decades, from Disney-character porn to superhero and TV cartoon character porn strips. But for India, SavitaBhabhi is a very big deal.
The site functions on donations and is seeking funds for greater bandwidth and exposure.
Certainly, there is plenty of live-action Indian-themed porn on the Web, including sites such as BollywoodHardcore.net/, Indian Sex Club and numerous others, though most content is likely not actually shot in India, where adult productions of any kind are forbidden.
The most prominent porn stars with Indian heritage include Sunny Leone and India-born Priya Rai.
