IMS Media Starts Live Adult Chat Auction Network

HOLLYWOOD Fla. – In eBay-like style, IMS Media has created the first person-to-person live adult chat-auction network: Voyr.com. Users bid on the chance to have an adult model perform for them.
Bidder and model communicate with one another by text, video, or audio. Voyr.com auctions use the same auctioneer conventions as in the real world.

Bidders bid for “private shows” with the model of their choice. Alternatively, there is a “buy now” option. There are also “reverse auctions” where bidders set the maximum amount they are willing to pay, and then models bid against one another by offering longer performances and/or lower prices in order to get the privilege of providing the private show.

“The chat industry needs something different, as all the chat sites offer the same thing,” said Rob Clark, affiliate manager for VoyrBucks.com , the site’s affiliate program. “We offer something that the users need: to be interactive.”

Ivan Cohen, founder of IMS media, created voyr.com. In 1993, he developed a system utilizing AT&T videophones to provide video conferencing-based phone sex. Cohen said he created Dreamview Communications in 1994 and began producing adult websites utilizing one-on-one conferencing with an adult theme.
