HuffPo LA is All About Porn, Deen, Measure B on Election Day

LOS ANGELES—Just noticed that the homepage for HuffingtonPost Los Angeles, which I was delivered to for a James Deen on Reddit story this fine election day afternoon, features four separate stories or editorials that contain the word "porn" in their headlines, and that the page itself has seven mentions of porn on it. That's some spicy SEO right there, uh-huh.

Call it coincidence if you like, but methinks the progressives at HuffPo—and that includes the womenfolk working there—love their porn and their porn stars, especially Deen, who stares adorably into the camera just under a big doofusy photo of President Obama and Mitt Romney taken from one of the debates. If the election were between the three of them it wouldn't even be close. Deen in a landslide, electoral and popular!

But then sex and porn are always the elephant in the room these days.

Deen, by the way, in his latest role as a real trooper in the fight to defeat Measure B, spent three hours on Reddit Monday answering questions about the ballot measure that would make the use of condoms in porn mandatory, as well as any other questions about performer safety and testing protocols. The front page of the section also has an editorial in opposition to Measure B by Alex Garner, editor-at-large for PositiveFrontiers.com. One of the other links on the page is also to a Measure B story about an industry rally held Sunday; we also covered another one held Saturday.

The consensus on HuffPo appears to be ... No on Measure B!
