PHILADELPHIA - National A-1 Internet, operator of the video-on-demand site Hot Movies, has entered a licensing agreement with Triangle Films and will be the first to digitally deliver movies from the lesbian studio.
"We at Triangle Films are really excited about our partnership with Hot Movies," said Kathryn Annelle, founder of Triangle Films. "I have been considering getting on board with HotMovies for some time now, and I made the move based on requests from our fans."
James Cybert, director of business development for National A-1, said the company is "greatly honored" that Triangle Films has chosen Hot Movies as its VOD partner. He said signing Triangle Films made perfect sense because the studio's films have been Hot Movies' most-requested titles "for a long time."
"Over the past two years, Hot Movies has become the gold standard for sites looking to appeal to fans of lesbian erotica," he said. "It is great when a company can build on strategies that have already proven successful, but, most importantly, our customers are going to be thrilled to see these movies appearing on our site."
Shoosh, executive producer of Triangle Films, said the deal is a step in the right direction for women who are interested in adult themes.
"Another factor in the decision to work with Hot Movies is National A-1's commitment to offering quality content and product for women," she said. "I'm so excited about the HotMoviesForHer.com site. Now, women will have a place to feel comfortable."
Triangle Films was nominated for three 2008 AVN Awards, including two in the "Best All-Girl Series" category for Intimate Invitation and Boundaries.
