GOMA Mobile Platform Enhances Sex Games

GOMA Systems Corporation has released its sex simulators’ mobile phone platform. Heterosexual (Goma Sex) and homosexual (Rainbeau Café) games are available for both Blackberry and PC.

The purpose of the games is to see how many sexual positions can be achieved in five minutes. The PC versions of the games provide camera angles and action shots that mirror those seen in adult films. Players get rated on their proficiency and work to attain “Master” status.

“Just as gamers enjoy control over animations, consumers would love to have seamless, real-time control of filmed adult content. That’s what our technology enables them to do,” explained GOMA Vice President Kevin Lyons.

The sex simulator games boast low selling prices and feature-enhanced graphics, 17 different sexual positions, and an intuitive interface that allows direct and real-time control over the virtual characters.

“Video games currently are the highest form of interactive entertainment,” said Lyons. “Adult entertainment historically has driven the adoption of technological advances such as the VCR and Internet. Whatever form [interactive television] takes, it will have interactive adult content.”

GOMA believes it has created a real-time interactive format that captivates both videogamers and non-games alike. What does that mean for the newly created adult game industry?

“First, indies have a great opportunity here,” Lyons said enthusiastically. “They can create truly interactive adult entertainment for platforms that have large and diverse install bases.”

GOMA is looking to form alliances with content providers, publishers, and distributors for PC and mobile platforms in order to exploit some of that install base.

With a relatively easy to use format, GOMA plans to expand its customer base beyond the average age of today’s gamer, which is 29 years old. The company’s patent-pending Universal Control Mapping system is touted as being a system that lends itself to many uses.

“Just like videogame graphics made a tremendous leap by going from 2D to 3D, our input technologies make the interface device transparent,” Lyons said. “We can do that with any device and in any genre. This transparency is important to interactive adult entertainment, because we don’t want the input device interfering with the user’s immersion in the content.”

Lyons noted that adult interactive games are only one aspect of GOMA’s business.

“Our upcoming martial arts simulator titles will demonstrate the flexibility, scalability, and universality of our technologies for launching other human-movement-intensive genres and the applicability of our Universal Control Mapping to all markets, including game consoles and other handheld devices,” he said.
