LAS VEGAS—Only one lucky winner will win a trip to the moon this Monday night (yes, a real flight into space), but there will be plenty more to make all the guests happy at the annual GFY Awards. In addition to trophies for the biggest vote-getters, there will be an abundance of booze, babes and bangin’ music at the show, which takes place January 19 from 10 p.m to 3 a.m. at Sapphire Gentlemen’s Club in Las Vegas.
As always, all registered Internext attendees will be granted free access to the awards show, which debuted in 2011 at Webmaster Access in Amsterdam. Last year, the decision was made to bestow the awards during the Internext Expo—and a sold-out house in 2014 confirmed that moving the GFY Awards to January was the correct decision.
In addition to presenting sponsor PussyCash, using the occasion to reveal the winners of the WebcamWiz Fly to the Moon $500,000 Raffle during the awards, a number of other sponsors have signed on to make a splash at the annual shindig.
The Red Carpet Sponsor is Bitter Strawberry, who is also the presenting sponsor for the Internext Expo. The Entertainment Sponsor is Sextronix. VIP Sponsors are CCBill, Mindgeek, AWE and AdultSexContent.
Adult online companies and industry professionals vied for votes in 27 categories, and the person/company who received the most votes in each one will go home with a trophy. And one web veteran will be inducted into the GFY Hall of Fame.
In addition to the official proceedings, GFY’s notorious brand of raucous revelry will abound. The infamous Webmaster Jam will take place immediately after the ceremony. The band will have a list of some 300 songs the audience can choose from and perform, karaoke style.
All Internext attendees are invited. Free shuttles run from the main entrance of the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Las Vegas starting at 10 p.m.
