MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif. -- The next generation of Mozilla's Firefox Web browser, 3.5 Beta 4, is available for test drives and includes a private setting, aka "porn mode."
The private mode includes greater options than similar settings for Apple's latest Safari browser or Google's Chrome, reports Gizmodo.
Computerworld notes the browser is nearly 20 percent faster than its previous public incarnation Firefox 3.0.10, released Monday.
The update boasts numerous features that include: recovering lost tabs; better performance and stability with the new TraceMonkey JavaScript engine; "Location Aware Browsing" via geolocation; rendering content faster; and support for a number of new Web technologies.
