ExtenZe Bounces Back

QUEEN CREEK, Ariz. – Beamonstar, exclusive national distributor of penile-enhancement pill ExtenZe, has paid $300,000 to settle a lawsuit with the Orange County district attorney’s office for false advertising and unfair business practices.

Since the settlement, in which some Laguna Beach customers complained to the Better Business Bureau that the pills were making them sick, Beamonstar’s product and marketing practices have experienced a positive transformation aimed at providing customers and retailers with education, satisfaction, and success on all levels. And, there’s been a stunning increase in sales, according to company founder and President Jeff Bolanos, who says sales for ExtenZe are up 25-35 percent.

Bolanos cites aggressive advertising via print and trade shows as a contributing factor to the boom in sales and a new seven-day, 14-capsule supply now available for retailers and consumers.

“The smaller supply has been working extremely well for retail stores,” says Bolanos. He adds that those customers who did get sick with the pills were incorrectly using them, but the company has made changes to insure that similar incidents will not recur.

Expansion in customer education is playing a part in those changes, which include supplying customers and retailers with detailed product brochures in English and Spanish, with clear statements on how the product should and should not be used.

Additionally, the company now operates a bilingual, 24/7, toll-free, customer service line (1-888-ExtenZe) in English and Spanish.

“Product education is key,” says Bolanos. “We’ve found a lot of store owners are very happy—by providing these additional educational tools it takes a lot of pressure off of them.” The actual recipe of the herbal pills has been revised, but now undergoes an extensive amount of testing before being shipped to retailers and consumers.

“ExtenZe is still our premier product, and we expect it to be for a long time. It’s very popular and has a huge demand,” Bolanos adds. “And, we don’t expect that change.”

Beamonstar is the wholesale arm for ExtenZe; Maximizer Health Products, Inc. operates the retail side of distribution. The company’s new interactive website, Beamonstar.com, features adult star interviews, giveaways, product surveys, a special section showcasing retail stores, and an ExtenZe store locator.

“We want everyone to be successful in selling our products,” says Bolanos. “Our product has been on the market for a long time, and we’re growing. We’re here to stay.”
