Everclear, Stockroom Heat Up ‘Internext Farewell Party’

LAS VEGAS - Our shins are screaming, the dry air has kidnapped our voice boxes and our eyes sting from staying open. We shrug off minor injuries, grab a Red Bull and hit it big. There's no stopping the industry now, it's our last night in Vegas!

The last night of Internext Las Vegas arrived Sunday with no signs of the party slowing down. The crazy energetic vibrations of Vegas have taken hold. We hold on tight as the city heightens our energy level and shoots us into orbit.

The energy reached its peak, thanks to the "Internext Farewell Party," which featured a live performance by Everclear at the Palms' Rain Nighctlub.

The show opened with a fetish burlesque performance by Stockroom.com at 10 p.m. This show was named the "Stockroom.com and Syren Latex Burlesque Fashion Show."

Partygoers were at a standstill, eyes wide open and jaws dropping, as they watched numerous vinyl-clad slaves swarm the center stage, swirling around a queen of sorts raised high on stilts.

The perfectly sexy smooth stars included the one and only September 2007 Penthouse Pet Justine Joli, international burlesque sensations Diamondback Annie, Mia Vixen and Victoria Vengeance, and other beautiful mistresses and fetish models. Forget ready-to-wear on the runway; these stars shined in the spotlight as they showed us hot signature fetish gear and slinky Syren Latex couture to die for.

After this amazing performance, AVN Media Network's Chris Lebrun took the stage and thanked everyone in the industry for their support, including the farewell party's premier sponsors PussyCash and GTBill.com and participating sponsors Too Much Media and RoboMail.

At 11 p.m., Everclear took the stage. They rocked the industry, which showed its enthusiasm on the dance floor, in the booths and by the bar. As they cranked out favorites, Internext's weeklong warriors showed smiles and toasts in appreciation.

Ashley Steele from SendAshleyToCollege.com and Halcyon with FlashCash grooved out and mingled with style by the bar.

"The whole Internext experience has been amazing," Steele said. "There have been a lot of great people here. I have seen old friends and made new ones. I will definitely be back next year!"

Other attendees expressed how amazing the show was and how happy they were with the overall Internext event. Braincash Pat screamed, "This is awesome!"

Nick van der Leeuw of Netherlands-based Ero Advertising said that he has conducted a lot of business at Internext.

"I have sold a lot of traffic on this trip, especially to Americans," he said.

He explained new news for his company, including the fact that he will do new affiliate sites, like some featuring Dutch dykes on bikes, who might sport some wooden shoes.

As we enjoyed the fetish show together, van der Leeuw said that kind of thing goes down all the time in the Netherlands. He also wished to share a top 10 list of why Amsterdam is hotter than Vegas.

"Number one: women. They are easier to get," he said loudly and proudly. "Number two: The hookers are cheaper."

At that moment, Derek of MrSkinCash.com breezed by and firmly agreed.

The laughter subsided and van der Leeuw continued as a crowd gathered.

"Number three: You can smoke happy stuff there," he said. "Number four: Champagne gets you going. Just offer a glass of champagne, and she will come to your room. Number five: You can drink on the streets! Number six: Drinks are cheaper. Number seven: If you go to a club, people actually show their tits. Number eight: You can get whatever you want on every corner. Number nine: The club performers get crazy, like 22 guys and one girl. And finally, number 10: Dutch guys kiss better than any American ever could!"

Sorry, Nick. I'll have to take your word for it! I can't put American men down on that one.

Following the show, Everclear's lead singer was spotted at "A GT Affair," the official after-party of the farewell party, hosted by GT Bill. This upbeat bash featured an amazing house music DJ and some very talented pool players in the g Suite, while Everclear socialized the night away in a booth with industry greats.

Others kept themselves busy in many suites, including the Real World Suite hosted by Cybersocket. The company's entertaining go-go boys kept things sizzling, which made the network mingling easy, especially with Epoch's Rand Pate in the infamous "confessional."

Only one day later, word of Internext's success is spread all over a thread on GFY. Some of us are back to work, struggling with lack of sleep, but basking in amazing memories that will last forever - or at least until next year. A word of advice: I suggest a solid 12 hours of sleep!
